Teacher pages on school websites often include what the students need, the dress code, their schedule, interactive activities, et cetera. At Ponce De Leon Middle School, their teacher pages separate in two; one for students and one for parents. Their page that is accessible to everyone simply serves as remainders for things going on at the school along with what is required of the students and what knowledge they need to know for the school's day-to-day schedule. They also provide quick links with resources for students and parents to use as well as access to their own portal.  https://poncedeleonmiddle.net/students-ponce/     I envision using technology only for means of presenting topics and studying. I think this generation spends way too much of their time in front of a screen.        My initial experience utilizing Diigo was not a great one. I just did not like how it was set up and how bland the entire site was. I did like the easiness of utilizing the site. It was not hard to learn how to use the site and posting is fairly easy. Diigo should add some more colors and features so, utilizing the website can be more appeasing.     I have never blogged before this class and I can honestly say I enjoy it. My initial reaction was very questioning and I did not want to do it because I was so used to just doing discussion posts but, I fell in love with it. I like the fact that you can organize your blog however, you would like to and you can change it up on different posts. I do not like that the site is kind of difficult to figure out how to do all the edits but, besides that I love it.     An interesting Web 2.0 that I might use when teaching is YouTube. I love YouTube because it has all different types of videos and teaching methods that students can utilize to

The ELA standard I chose is for fifth grade classes in which states "i nclude multimedia components (e.g., graphics, sound) and visual displays in presentations when appropriate to enhance the development of main ideas or themes." This standard implements the need to emphasize the main ideas and themes in presentations by utilizing special effects such as music, animations, et cetera in order to help develop these important pieces of information for the students. I think this would be easy for me to implement since I am already using graphics and sounds in my presentations now. This standard was taught to me as early as middle school for PowerPoint presentations and there are now more creative and easier ways to implement this standard so, I will be able to utilize this standard with my current skill set.     The resource that I found in the CPALMS' toolkit was the video game store. It was located under grade level 5 and in the math subject area. This resource utili
