Teacher pages on school websites often include what the students need, the dress code, their schedule, interactive activities, et cetera. At Ponce De Leon Middle School, their teacher pages separate in two; one for students and one for parents. Their page that is accessible to everyone simply serves as remainders for things going on at the school along with what is required of the students and what knowledge they need to know for the school's day-to-day schedule. They also provide quick links with resources for students and parents to use as well as access to their own portal. https://poncedeleonmiddle.net/students-ponce/

I envision using technology only for means of presenting topics and studying. I think this generation spends way too much of their time in front of a screen. Whether it is the television, a phone, or their laptops/computers, students are connected to technology on a day-to-day basis. I envision finding creative methods to utilize in my classroom. Technology will be utilized for the purpose of PowerPoints to showcase the lessons being taught and also at the end of each lessons we will use different website resources as a mean to study and serve as remainders for the upcoming quiz or test.

My group and I did not get the proper chance to utilize PB Works due to it constantly shutting down so, we utilized another Web 2.0 resource called Google Docs to do our project. So, for my experience with Wiki, it was a horrible experience. On the other hand, utilizing Google Docs was super easy and fun. I was able to chat with my group members directly in our workspace while doing the project so, we were able to easily assist each other. Also, it was really easy tof ind each other's errors and assist with correcting them as well as making our document visually appealing. The only thing we got irritated with was trying to make everything fit on one page however, we just decided to leave it because it did not affect the look of our assignment in a drastic way.
